What's New At Pilgrim
Pilgrim Worship Schedule

8:00 and 10:30 am - Sunday Worship Service
9:00 am - Sunday Fellowship and
                Word Of God Hour
6:00 pm - Monday Worship Service

Monday "30 Minute Chapel" worship services are held from 6:00 to 6:30 pm.  This is a shortened service that is held in the Fellowship Hall. It provides an opportunity for Worship for those who were out of town over the weekend.  In addition, the service is more informal, so that it is more inviting to those who are wanting to learn about God’s Word and Pilgrim but because of their lack of church background feel overwhelmed and intimidated by the thought of attending a usual Sunday service. For more information, please call the church office at (480) 830-1723.

Fall Worship Schedule

Pilgrim's fall worship has begun.  The Fellowship and Word of God Hour begins at 9:20 am, and the Worship Services begin at 8:00 and 10:30 am.

Plan to arrive by 4:30 pm to get set up. Trunk or Treaters are expected to start arriving at 5:30 pm.  Signup sheets are available in the narthex and for more information, speak to Pastor Bushaw.

The portable building located behind Pilgrim School was torn down on Tuesday, September 11.  This campus improvement project was a requirement of our WELSSA School Accreditation process and will improve the look of our campus.  The total project cost is approximately $6,000, and already almost half of that amount has been donated. If the Lord so moves and blesses you with the ability and willingness to help, please mark your donation as “Portable Project.” If you have any questions, please speak with Paul Tomamichel, Michael Saucerman, or to Pastor Winterstein. Thank you!

Counseling Program at Pilgrim

The Member Assistance Program (MAP) is a video-assisted distance counseling service through Christian Family Solutions (WLCFS) using licensed WELS affiliated counselors.  It is a customized and comprehensive way for churches, schools and organizations to assist in meeting the emotional and psychological needs of their members and students. Currently this service is offered free of charge to our Pilgrim members.  If you are interested in using this service, please speak with the pastors. Special gifts and memorials toward the MAP Fund are always welcome.

Prayer Requests

Pilgrim’s Prayer And Care Team is glad to announce the re-opening of the Prayer Box.  Located in the narthex, the Prayer Box is placed so that you might have an opportunity to request prayer, even if you do not wish for those prayers to be made public during a worship service.  In the past, prayer requests have ranged from "feelings of loneliness" to "death of a loved one."  Prayer Cards are located near the Prayer Box.  Print your name and prayer request in the Prayer Card, seal the envelope, and place it in the Prayer Box. The Prayer And Care Team will confidentially pray over the items within.  In addition, printed prayers from the team will be placed in the narthex for anyone who would like to take one home. Please keep the team in your prayers.
